Service Description
Departure from your Resort or Airbnb at appoximately 9:00am. Coffee, water and donuts with fruit for the drive south to South Point. Stop at Punalu'u for Malasada's before heading to Black Sand beach to view the turtles and breathe in the lovely ocean air on this sparkly black sand beach. Deli style picnic on the beach. Head to Volcanoes Natl. Park to explore the fascinating diversity of Kilauea Crater, , experience the Steam vents on the north rim and an easy walk to view the crater from the North Rim. Drive south on Old Crater trail, stop at Thurston Lava Tube to explore this natural phenomenon. Dinner in Volcano Village at Lava Rock Cafe. Drive back to Kona on Saddle Road . Return at approximately 7pm. Please wear comfortable walking shoes, dress casually and bring a jacket, and layers, it can be windy and chilly at the Volcano. Bring beach attire for Black Sand Beach time. I will provide; water/coffee/snacks/picnic lunch and beach gear and dinner at Lava Rock Cafe. You will want to bring sunscreen.
Cancellation Policy
For cancellations, there will be a 20% cancellation fee for cancellations requested up to 2 months prior to the beginning of your booking service start date. If your cancellation request is within 2 months of your service beginning date, the cancellation fee with be 25%. Cancellation requests should be made by emailing me through this website. You must provide your name, the date of your tour or service, and what method of payment that you used. Due to the limited spaces available for our private tours or services, there will be no refunds if requests are made within 2 weeks of your booked tour or service. If there are openings available, we will make every attempt to assist you to reschedule your tour or service, if you choose.
